Good News! Returns are okay again.
have you ever felt hassled returning that ugly T-shirt your mom bought you for Christmas? Well the reality is that many stores have made a harder over the past years to return items due to a few who relentlessly return everything that’s ever given to them. Even worse are the folks that return everything they ever buy one day after the buy it.
retailers have initiated a new program with the nickname “wardrobing” that focuses heavily on “serial returners”. So for most of us this is fantastic news, and for a few of us this is a warning. If you’re one of those people that wears an outfit wants and returns it, you should watch your back… And in conclusion, one word of advice for the fashionably challenged. Don’t buy crap that looks ugly, thank you.

Kanye West has a fantastic style. Although many don’t like him for various outbursts of arrogance over the past year or so, he undeniably knows how to dress. Some of us dream of having someone collaborate our outfits for us on a daily basis. For Kanye West, our dream is his reality. Cassius Clay is Kanye West’s personal stylist. Personally, I think the man knows how to dress. More importantly, he gets paid stress celebrities.

Fashion Photography – Quick Tip
The great thing about fashion photography is you can be as out of the box or as simple as you want. Taking a photo with a model in front of a white backdrop is just as much fashion photography as a model standing on a whale in a ball gown wearing Christian Louboutin heels. The clothes are what you are selling but combing the photo with an interesting concept or colors can really make your photo stand out in this competitive industry. This photo is not to crazy but the model looks enlightened almost, comfortable in her own skin – the credit going to her clothes.

This picture was taken at night. Being able to work your editing software to take a dark photo and make this out of it is skill. In Chicago Fashion Photography, you don’t always get a good, skilled model. You gotta make her shine. This is an example of good editing work.

What is fashion photography if not fun?
This argument may be a difficult one to make to a chicago fashion photographer, however, i will try. Let’s just come out with it, most of the outfits/makeups combos in our fashion photography these days is not something you would probably see someone wearing walking down michigan ave…. that being said, the ideas are innovative, cutting edge, and will bring life to the future of modeling/photography.
